I think Stumbo made a huge mistake, going after Fletcher, it was obviously politics at its worst.

Where do all the candidates for governor stand on separation of church and state issues such as abortion, prayer in schools, science curriculum, government funding of faith-based organizations, school vouchers, etc.?

With the new conservative majority on the Supreme Court, state governors will have a profoundly important role on these most divisive issues that have consumed political debate across two generations.

The silence is deafening. Why aren't the candidates addressing these issues and why isn't the media asking? I mean, I like talking about mountain-top coal removal as much as the next guy, but I'll be crushed if I vote for a candidate in the primary on the basis of their views about mountains and they turn out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing when it comes to where to draw the line between church and state.

Please help. Will you ask the question?
