Fletcher is running behind in the polls
Fletcher is still getting beat up in the polls. Could this be a sign of the final few months.

All summer, SurveyUSA — an automated polling service — has shown Democratic candidate for governor Steve Beshear with more than a 20-point lead over Republican Gov. Ernie Fletcher.Some of Fletcher’s supporters have dismissed that poll as wrong, saying that the results are skewed or that many people hang up on the computerized system, which throws off the sample of respondents.
But a new poll conducted by Lexington firm Preston- Osborne for The Lane Report magazine shows Beshear up by 18 points with 49 percent compared with Fletcher’s 31 percent and 16 percent undecided. Three percent refused to answer.
